Not to be confused with yesterday’s Daily Badass, David Hasselhoff, this is Murphy. How could I resist posting this video of Murphy chilling at the beach with his foster family? This dog loves the beach!
Murphy is an approximately 1 year-old collie/shepherd mix known to all as 49 pounds of loving, handsome hunk. He came to Brooklyn a little green on the training front but has blown everyone away with the smarts and good nature that back up his good looks. His foster mom says, “Murphy is THE BEST! We’ve fostered over 12 dogs now and he is by far the friendliest. Everyone loves him, and he loves everyone. We get stopped on the street all the time because people want to know what breed he is because he’s so friendly and handsome He has a really dopey disposition and is always smiling, which is why it surprised me at how easy he was to train. He learned “no” within a day and sit within 15 minutes! I’m not joking. I was dumbfounded at how smart he is - he picks up the commands so fast! He’s also the best cuddler! He loves to be pet, and he loves to just lie down or sit by you but he doesn’t lick or slobber on you which is nice. He has the sweetest eyes and is really playful. But he tires out really easily. He’s house trained, great with other dogs, needs some work on walking without pulling and not begging but other than that he is perfect. I’m jealous of the person who adopts him because he’s SUCH a great dog .”
